FAQ

Common questions

  • Which pellet size should I pick?
Pick the size that fits comfortably in your fish's mouth. When in doubt, size down — a pellet slightly too small still works; a pellet too big gets ignored or spit back out. For mixed-size tanks, grab two sizes.
  • Does this pellet sink or float?
Slow-sinking. The food wets and descends gently through the water column, mimicking how food behaves in the wild and reducing waste.
  • How often should I feed?
Once or twice a day, the amount your fish finish in 1–2 minutes. Underfeeding beats overfeeding every time — leftovers foul the water.
  • How long after opening is it good?
Check the expiry date printed on the bag. Because the food is dry, it usually stays good well beyond that as long as you store it right — time isn't the main enemy. The biggest issue is moisture: never put wet hands into the bag, and don't let any water get in. Keep it sealed in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
  • Will my fish eat DynariX and NorthFin?
Most fish take it immediately — the whole-krill aroma is highly palatable on both DynariX and NorthFin formulas. If your fish are hesitant, try skipping one meal, then offering it again. Hunger breaks habits fast.
  • How should I store it?
Dry, sealed, at room temperature, out of direct light. Not in the fridge — condensation when you take it out adds moisture to the bag, which is the one thing that actually spoils the food.
